The last six years I've been performing with a sequencer as a solo
act. I sound just like in the albums I've produced. I would like to make myself available
for travel to Europe and Asia as a solo artist. Of course I can always put together a group to
travel. My second option would be to travel as a duo with Tony Selvage.
If you're a wind synthesist and are recording music, please drop me a
note. I'd love to hear other peoples recordings. I'm the only one in my area.
The EVI, over the last 17years, has become my main instrument. In
January of 1996 on a vacation to Kona Hawaii, I met Tony Selvage. His
sound drew me to ask him if I could join his performance. We played the
next evening and a couple of days later we recorded Pele's Heartbeat.
It was completely improvised with the intention of creating healing
music. I then overdubbed percussion and this is the copy you'll be
hearing. Tony and I have a very unique situation. He plays a very old
instrument and I play one from the future. The blending is exciting,
special and unique. The respect we give each other can be felt as well
the freedom to improvise and yet follow each other. We love to perform
and are available for some travel and recordings.
